Max Cohen When I was little, always told not to look the sun at age 6 did. It almost goes blind and since then something inside changed, in addition to drag a brutal attacks nerves that can barely stand.

Pi was also a Double chance for its director, who later would direct the critically acclaimed The Wrestler (The Wrestler) and the director of the soundtrack for Clint Mansell, who have already spoken here very, very good, for his success in films like Moon and Requiem for a Dream.

The movie is an allegory about modern science, represented by Max, who is dangerously close to the very foundations and mechanisms that give rise to the existence and the universe. Understandable from the point of view and point opposite minimalist existentialist Pi: Faith in Chaos shows the suffering of individual by the mere fact of having a gift.


The number Pi, stock market, Chaos theory, movements of society, the decline and increase in the number of karibus, galactic spirals, the shells of mollusks, the golden rectangle, the golden ratio of beauty and phi. Max hides in his mind the fate of many people and the knowledge of the mechanism of life, reflected in 216 numbers. In the fall depends on whose hands such powerful knowledge.




This movie is one of my favorites, and only I have to make a recommendation. Veais not alone, as usual with I like movies that are not to see them alone.
